...use the trajectory viewer
To gain insight into the behavior of CNN dynamics, the CNN simulator
includes a tool called trajectory viewer, which allows to track
how the state trajectories evolve. This tool is able to plot
the trajectory of several cells simultaneously.
The CNN simulator provides another tool to analyze simulations, called
grid viewer. For information about the grid viewer see How
to...view input/state/output of a single cell.
To trace the state value of a cell press the CONTROL key on your
keyboard and click with the mouse on the desired cell in the state/output
grid. A small colored triangle marks the selected cell.
Simultaneously, a separate window called trajectory viewer appears.
The x-axis represents time and the y-axis represents the state
value of the selected cell:
Start the integration process. The colors of the trajectories correspond
to the colors of the small triangles in the selected cells.
To remove a traced cell just CONTROL-click with the mouse on the
appropriate cell. If the last cell has been deselected the trajectory viewer
To control axis scaling change to the trajectory viewer section
using the simulator menu:
After entering the new scaling values press the "apply" button.
Attention: Every change of the scaling clears
the trajectories in the trajectory viewer window. It is not possible
to zoom in or zoom out. To get the same effect you can adjust the scaling
and restart the same simulation.
"Reset" button sets the scaling to the default values and removes
all traced cells from the state grid.
